Eleventh to seventeenth centuries
Paintings from different centuries show how the interior changed from one generation to the next.
Outside, ask children to guess why a stone church needed an additional wooden “roof over the roof”.
At the site we focus on specific reference points: the double roof, frescoes from different periods, Saint Nicholas and the dome concealed beneath the roof.
