Twelfth century and later paintings
The small church stands in a green valley far from the large cities.
Before the visit we choose several biblical scenes and look at how artists of different periods represented faces, clothing and movement.
At the site we focus on specific reference points: the steep roof, the donor holding a model of the church, the date of a fresco and an exterior painting.
