The late twelfth-century frescoes connect the island with the artistic world of the Komnenian period.
An old oak tree can be seen nearby, and the route can continue through the surrounding landscape—a good way to alternate art and walking with children.
At the site we focus on specific reference points: the U-shaped gallery, the date 1192, Christ Pantokrator and the Annunciation.
