Twelfth to thirteenth centuries
The monastery stands beside the road between the villages of Analiontas and Kampia.
It was probably built in the twelfth or thirteenth century, although the earliest written information dates to 1734. The church was rebuilt in 1769; from our observation, that date is written on a fresco on the north side.
The monastery stood empty from the middle of the nineteenth century and was restored in 1970 by decision of Archbishop Makarios III.
